Amino acid in non-vegetarian foodstuff
Glycine is contained in foods as follows.

Amino acids per edible 100g

Glycine is often used in marine products such as fish paste, crab products (fish paste with crab flavor), cut squid, boiled scallop, fried fish cake (shrimp taste snack).
The taste of marine products is significantly improved by addition of Glycine because naturally occuring Glycine is often washed out during food processing steps.
